About

Hi there! My name is Leah, here to bring you all things love, light and yoga. On my 30th lap around the sun, dedicating this existence to leaving every one & thing better than the way I found it.

"Its not about what we look like when we are doing it, its about what it feels like"

Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self to the self. This seemingly "physical" practice takes on new form when we perceive a yoga practice as the union of body and spirit.

I discovered yoga eleven years ago. Like most American millennials the allure of yoga spurred from these elaborately constucted poses that my stiff athletic body could only dream of contorting into. After solely dedicating my practice to a single teacher and style for multiple years on end, I stumbled into a yoga room finding not "my" teacher but a teacher that in fact had the same last name and first name initial, my groggy morning eyes deceived me. My ego immediately demanded to leave this room "this woman isn't going to give me the workout I need" "I hope that she at least lets us do crow" All of these deceiving thoughts about this teacher I didn't even know popping up in my head. Through all this negative judgment and projection the loudest voice in my head said "Stay". So I stayed and that was the first yoga class I ever lost my shit and let the tears hit the mat.

Fast forward to 2017 I decided to pursue my 200hr yoga teacher training through Yogagti Yoga School in Koh Phangan, Thailand. This magical country was also home to my first and second Reiki  attunements and education. I have been graciously granted opportunities to train under internationally renowned teachers such as Sean Corne and Jonny Kest and continue to learn and evolve from the students that meet me on the mat.

My love for this practice and all the physical, mental and spiritual healing is the root to why yoga has been utilized as a healing practice for hundreds of years.
